This is a a group for people who live in Bayside, the boroughs and Long Island. It's for people who are creatures of the city, with all its diversity, possibilities, opportunities, and excitement. To be sure, we will make excursions into the city and Long Island. The point of this group is as much to allow meeting, forming friendships, and having fellowship with others whose hearts belong in the city, as it is to take trips into the city for all that it offers.
Some of the event types we offer are : Speed dating, Museums, bowling, pool, golf, bingo, shows, rock climbing, mingles and more. Some events are associated with http://www.weekenddating.com or https://www.socialevents123.com and others are not

How else is it similar/different from Traditional Speed Dating
One on One dates:
We will break participants into pairs of two, just like we do with traditional speed dating. You will get to speak to each dates for a specified amount of time (typically 4-6 minutes). After the specified number of minutes, the guys will rotate to the next date and the process continues.
Just like with traditional speed dating, at the end of the event you will be able to let us know who you were interested in. We will send you both mutual matches (you picked them and they picked you) as well as one way matches (they picked you but you did not pick them).
You are given 20 minutes from the end of the event to let us know who you are interested in and will receive the results the same night (usually within one hour) or the next morning. You will not have to wait 24 hours or more to get your results.

How many potential dates will be there?
The minimum number of potential dates will be 5 and the maximum will be about 15. If for any reason there were less than 5 members of the opposite sex in attendance, you would get credit for a future Virtual event.

* Check in starts 15 minutes before event start time so if possible please arrive a bit early.
At this event you will be going on a series of about 7 to 12 mini dates with each date lasting about 5 minutes each. Women stay seated and the men rotate from table to table until they meet each woman.
You will get a match card and at the end of each mini-date you'll indicate whether or not you'd like to see the person again. At the end of the evening you will hand your match card in to the event host. If you both select each other, we will send you each others' email address the next day so you can set up a future date! Within 48hrs, you'll receive an email with the first name and email of your mutual matches. We do not give out names or contact info unless there is a mutual match.
Our Speed Dating events tend to attract quality, single professionals who are done with the dating games and ready to meet that special someone. Most people know within a few minutes if they would like to see someone again.
We will have fun, ice breaker questions available to pull out of an envelope on the tables so there will never be a lull in conversation. The questions are also a great way to gauge chemistry with the other person.
