Join us for an epic afternoon of Diplomacy at Café Changsindangil (창신단길, 16 Changsin-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul) — just 3 minutes from Dongdaemun Station (Line 1 or 4, Exit 1)*.

Diplomacy is a legendary board game of alliances, shifting loyalties, and pure human interaction. There are no dice and luck—your only weapons are communication, persuasion, and clever tactics.

Who Will Enjoy This?

If you love reading people: Fans of the face-to-face talking in Blood on the Clocktower, Secret Hitler, or Avalon, or the hilarious moments in Among Us.

If you like epic strategy: Fans of Risk or the Game of Thrones boardgame but wish more social interaction.

If you enjoy negotiation: Fans of trading in Catan who wish the deals carried higher stakes.

🌟 What to Expect at Our Table:

The Tech Upgrade: Classic Diplomacy can famously take 6+ hours. (While the 6+ may feel intimidating, unlike most strategy games no turn-based waiting, everything happens simultaneously so feels much shorter and faster)
We use smartphones to secretly input orders and cast the map to a big TV screen! This cuts the game time drastically, letting us play a full, epic game in just 2 to 4 hours.

No Math, Just Fun: Our GM and the digital app handle all the combat math and timers. You just focus on your strategy and building airtight alliances!

Beginners are welcome: A short tutorial is given before we start. If you can learn Secret Hitler, you can learn the basics of this in 10 minutes, and our GM will guide you through the rest.

International Crowd: Meet locals, expats, and travelers from around the world.

Any Group Size: We have officially balanced variant maps for any player count! Whether we have 5 people or 20, the game adapts perfectly.

💰 Entry Fee: 8,000 KRW + 1 drink purchase.

🕒 Schedule (2:00 PM – 7:00 PM)

2:00 PM - 3:00 PM: Arrivals, grab your drink, and we teach the rules from scratch!

3:00 PM - 6:00 PM: The Main Event. Real-time negotiations and shifting alliances!

6:00 PM - 7:00 PM: We tidy up, laugh about the crazy plays, and if want can play a casual cool-down game.

7:00 PM onwards (Optional): The café kicks off its regular evening board game event(7:00 - 10:30). If you want to keep the party going, you can join that event for a 5,000 KRW evening fee, or just head home!

Diplomacy is a game that gets exponentially more fun with a bigger crowd! While we can play with a smaller group, the game truly shines when we have 7 or more players negotiating at the same time.
Last-minute joins? ALWAYS welcome! The more the merrier—we will just load up a bigger, more epic map.
Need to cancel? No problem! Just drop us a quick message as early as you can so we know exactly which map size to set up for the group.
