Can you believe it's already the end of February? At Joyful Hub, we believe language exchange is about more than just words. It's about finding like-minded people, sharing genuine warmth, and building real friendships in a new city. Our community is built on the belief that "Connection comes first." Language is the tool, but true friendship is the goal!
We're gathering again on Saturday, February 28th! This meeting is extra special because the very next day is March 1st (Samiljeol), a deeply significant day in Korean history. It commemorates the day our ancestors united to cry out for independence with one heart. It’s a day filled with immense pride for Koreans.
🌍 Does your country have a day that fills you with pride? Is there a historical day everyone celebrates with passion? Or a day that makes you want to shout, "My country is the best at this!"?
We want to hear about the moment your country shined the brightest, or that special day that makes your heart swell with pride when you think of home.

1. A Day of Pride "Does your country have a passionate day like Korea's March 1st?" Koreans have a belief in their DNA that "Together, we can overcome anything," and March 1st is the root of that spirit. Does your country have a historical moment where the whole nation united as one?
2. Celebrate with Food & Customs "How do you celebrate your national days?" On March 1st, Koreans hang the national flag (Taegeukgi) to celebrate independence. What special customs or foods does your country enjoy on its most important anniversaries?
