[3/8] Hike your tongue slab to the pipe ridge! (Mt. Kwanaksan)
상세정보
[Mountain to hiking] Mt. Kwanaksan
[Meeting date and time] Sunday, March 8, 2026, 10:00 AM
[Meeting place] Outside Exit 6 of Sadang Station(#226) , Line 2 and 4
The pipe ridge of Kwanaksan Mountain offers far more beautiful scenery and more rocky sections than the commonly climbed Sadang ridge, yet it is not particularly steep. Along the way, there is a 30-meter slab section called Tongue Rock, but it can be climbed very safely by setting ropes as you go. If you lack confidence even with ropes, a bypass route is immediately adjacent and can be used instead. The other sections require no special concern. Even if someone looks like they're struggling, we'll take the time to proceed safely using ropes. Climbing with ropes is safer than it looks. There are knots that prevent your hands from slipping on steep slopes while holding the rope. When time allows, I'll teach you several knots useful for climbing and daily life.
