On October 19th, Habitat for Humanity will be hosting its Cycle of Hope. In preparation for this event our ride will preview a portion of the route. More will be announced midweek to those who have signed up for our ride this week. There will be a no-host lunch following the ride for anyone who wishes to join us.
Assuming it is forecast to remain below 90 degrees tomorrow morning, it is going to be an easy, if warmer, ride, continuing along the Cycle for Hope series. It should only be around 20 miles so we can return before it gets too hot. For those of you who use Ride with GPS, look for “Pedaler’s Cycle for Hope 2”. Coffee at mile 11.
Ride "sweep" will facilitate keeping all on course. Ride will re-group as necessary. Cycling etiquette essential. Pleasanton Senior Center and Livermore Library open - bathrooms & water available.
Attendees are limited to 30 who have signed for the ride in advance. Please be sure to bring your helmet, water and a spare tube. No SAG cars provided.
