👋 Hi, I’m Jody!
Your host and Sim Theatre staff for today’s magical meetup 👑✨

Like many of you, I grew up enchanted by Disney and the magic of theatre. After 13 years in the US, I’m back in Korea and I treasure every chance to create something special together at Sim Theatre.

Even if you’re nervous or new to English, all you need is a heart ready for adventure and a wish to try.
This meetup is all about courage, joy, and celebrating those “door-opening” moments with friends—just like our favorite princesses.

🎥 Theme: Trapped, Choosing, and Finding Freedom

Both Rapunzel and Belle live in worlds where they’re trapped—not by choice, but by circumstance.
What matters most isn’t how long you’re trapped, but how bravely you choose to seek freedom, friendship, and love.

• Rapunzel: Raised in a tower for her “protection,” she dreams of the world outside and dares to leave her comfort zone for the very first time.

🕯️ “I want to see the floating lights… I can’t help but feel like they’re meant for me!”

• Belle: Alone in a mysterious castle, she looks past appearances, choosing understanding and kindness over fear.

🌹 “I want so much more than they’ve got planned.”

These stories remind us:
✨ Freedom isn’t something given to us—it’s something we choose for ourselves.

At this event, we’ll follow in their footsteps, performing iconic scenes (and songs!) in English, and sharing our own “break free” moments on stage.

(Both movies are available on Disney+, and we’ll provide YouTube clip links for each scene you’ll be acting out)

🎭 How to Join

Choose your favorite style:
🎤 Main role (lots of lines or songs)
🧍 Extra role (short lines, easy & fun)

Roles are picked first come, first served—so sign up early for the part you want!

Worried about acting or singing? Don’t be!

There’s a great mix of roles for everyone:

• Plenty of male characters
• Non-singing roles for those who’d rather act than sing
• Lots of extra parts with just a few easy lines

🕒Event Schedule

2:15–3:15 | Icebreaking in English 🎲🗣️
Just as Rapunzel and Belle bravely stepped into a new world, we’ll open up and get to know each other with fun English games and themed icebreakers.

3:15–4:25 | Team Rehearsal & Practice 🎭✍️
Practice your chosen scene or song with your team. Staff Jody will be there with tips and encouragement!

4:25–5:45 | Performance Time! 🎬🌟
The stage is yours—act, sing, and bring a bit of Disney magic to life!
🎥 Performances will be recorded for your memories.

5:45~ | Optional Afterparty 🍽️🍺
Dinner and drinks nearby for those who want to keep the magic going.
