상세정보

June is the heart of nesting season on the farm. As the crops grow, so too do the young birds, keeping their parents busy collecting food to deliver to their nestlings or to the fledglings that flutter after them. Every corner of the farm feels busy and alive. It’s the perfect month to experience some of Lundale Farm's wildlife up close - and we've scheduled it on a Saturday for those of you who can't come to our weekday outings here.

This relaxing trip will cover 1-2 miles along the gravel farm road. Please bring binoculars if you have them - the leaders will have a couple of pairs available to loan out. This is a great outing for beginning and experienced birders alike and those looking to learn more about regenerative farming practices. And children (accompanied by an adult) are always welcome at Valley Forge Audubon Society events.

A portable toilet is available on site.

Lundale Farm is a community of regenerative farmers who work to enhance the ecology, health, and diversity of the land. Because the farm is sustainably managed, it not only provides fresh local food for consumers but also provides excellent habitat in which birds can thrive. Please note that Lundale Farm is private property and access is by permission only or for special events such as this one. For more information, visit Home - Lundale Farm.
