Need a friendly +1 for a little while?
I’m Matt from Canada, and this is a casual, low pressure 1:1 hangout for anyone who wants some simple company. we can go for a walk grab a coffee or food browse a mall or department store visit a park explorer neighborhood, I can accompany you on a casual errand anywhere you need a +1. I chose this time and place as a default but I'm available anywhere in Seoul, and time is pretty flexible so let me know when and where you would like to meet and we can arrange it.
About me:
I have founded and manage two startups, love going to the gym, meeting new people, and exploring new places. I've traveled quite a bit, and have lived in several countries. I have lots of hobbies and interests, and an open mind to chat about anything from daily life to deep philosophy. I'm am also a good conversationalist and listener :).
Motivation & Purpose:
I started this group because these days, it's easy to get ultra-focused chasing our goals, living to work, and feeling like a slave to daily routines. We find ourselves isolated and lonelier than ever despite social media promising to connect us.
It's a simple chance to pause for a bit, get outside, share some casual conversation, and connect. Sometimes, it just feels good to have someone to talk to. We can go for a walk or if you need someone to talk with, accompany you on an errand or just be present with you, I'm here for you! :)
There’s no fixed topic, no networking pressure or pressure to talk, and no need to be super outgoing. We’ll just walk, chat, and see where the conversation naturally goes or I can be your +1 as you need. We might talk about life in Korea, hobbies, work, travel, culture, games, books, language exchange, future plans, or completely random things. You don’t need to prepare anything or try to impress anyone.
If you don't have anything in mind, that's ok anything goes! For example, we can explore the neighborhood, walk and shop through a mall or department store, spend some time in a park, or even get some coffee or food together.
