maybe one of the fluent in Korean people could set up a web page outside meet up that lists the dates, times and locations of the events on the meet up calendar in hangul. the meetup organizer could paste a link to that webpage for native korean people to go to figure out what the events

maybe that's too much work?

Posting in Korean is still a pain, even if you've got the Korean down.

Meetup does some funky stuff where it renders non-ANCII characters
into unrendered HTML entities. So far the only places where Korean
displays is inside an event listing (the description, but not in the
headline) and in mass emails, as long as they aren't sent by the
meetup interface. (I noticed that Korean written in email to the
mailing list renders.)

I'm afraid to use the announce feature or any meetup interface mail
feature because I have a feeling it will garble Korean, as it does in
the headlines and comments. Let me know it you get Korean to work in
any other areas or know anything I don't.
