Don't stick it on someone's web server somewhere in their basement. It
is a pain in the butt to get what you want. Pay a reasonable premium
and get what you need from customer service from a real hosting
company.

I pick Dreamhost for non-profits because more developers in the
community are familiar with it... and when I need a bail out it is
easy to give them limited account access on their own admin accounts
(on the admin panel) and then yank it away without changing the master
account password. People get attached and like to fiddle after the
fact and then things break... Like in the middle of the night a
volunteer will decide what I really need is a new Cube Cart install
because they found a new toy and all of a sudden I have a shopping
cart... with nothing in it to buy ;-)  This is mostly the high school
kids though. And hey, I will take all the help I can get.
