I've updated the first Meetup with parking and public transportation information because I know I'll get a lot of questions about that. Please ignore previous email. Replies to previous email will go to whole group.

Announcing two new Meetups for nature lovers' meetup!

1. Evening in georgetown

What: Evening in georgetown -- photo exhibit, walk, dinner

When: May 29,[masked]:30 PM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Meetup Description: We'll see the exhibit "everything is connected" --a beautiful, but sometimes horrific, photographic portrait of the world today as seen through the eyes of Swedish photographer Mattias Klum as he travelled the world for National Geographic. After the exhibit we'll take a walk around the recently constructed Georgetown waterfront park and then head for dinner at a nearby restaurant.

Please meet us in the lobby at 4.30pm. Around 4.45 we'll start touring the exhibit.

parking is difficult in georgetown. Shuttle buses to georgetown available from Rosslyn and Dupont circle metro. Also circulator buses connect Georgetown to different parts of downtown DC. See http://dccirculator.c... for schedules and maps. If you should park, best place is on 30th street just south of M st. You have to enter 30th from M street because it is one way going south. Parking garage on right.

2. Booknic --12.15 pm -- saturday june 20.

We'll continue our reading of Thoreau's Walden and discuss it during a picnic.
