Announcing a new event for The Toledo New Friends/New In Town Meetup Group!
What: Mud Hens Opening Day
When: Thursday, April 3, 4:00 PM

Who should come: Sports fans and those that love cheap food!
Why: We're fun! Plus the team is good.
Event Description: I know this is early, but you need to clear your schedules cause it's the Mud Hens Opening Day Bash versus the Durham Bulls! We moved here from Southern California thinking we were gonna miss going to the Angels and Dodgers games, but we love the Mud Hens.
Tickets for the 2nd Annual Opening Day Bash are on sale now.
The price per ticket is $27.00 and includes:
**One Opening Day ticket in the Home Run Terrace
The Home Run Picnic Terrace (General Admission) is located in the outfield and seating at the picnic tables is on a first-come, first-served basis.
**All-You-Can-Eat Buffet Menu:
- Grilled Hot dogs with Buns
- Pulled BBQ Pork Sandwiches with Corn Dusted Kaiser Rolls
- Grilled Hamburgers with Buns
- Homemade Chili with Oyster Crackers
- Baked Beans
- Potato Chips
- Cole Slaw
- Gourmet Chocolate Chip Cookies
- Assorted Canned Pepsi Products and Lemonade
The all you can eat buffet will begin at 4:00 PM and go until 6:00 PM. Alcohol will also be available for purchase on site. Game starts at 5:00 PM.
Fans can purchase their Bash tickets by phone (419) 725-HENS (4367), online or at the Mud Hens box office.
Individual Opening Day tickets are not on sale yet. The only way to guarantee an Opening Day ticket is either a buffet bash ticket or a season ticket package (full season or partial season).
Although we do prefer sitting in better seats or a box during the season, we went to the opening day bash last year in the outfield and had a blast.
Signing up for this event doesn't guarantee you a seat. You need to buy your ticket ahead of time. We will get there early enough to save seats for those people that are a definite yes on the day of the game.
