We can't wait to see you there, let’s make it another fantastic event!
Amazing Mazes
by Erik Hooijmeijer
Sometimes you stumble into a world you never knew existed. In this case: corn mazes. You know, top-tier agri-entertainment for the kids. But how do you design something like that, and more importantly, how do you ensure it grows in the right place?
Guess what:
software—or rather, a hobby project that got a little out of hand.
In short, this talk is about mazes, algorithms, geocoding, and precision farming!
Vibe coding for fun and profit
by Martin van Amersfoorth
Large language models are great at writing code. Many of us are already using them, with tools like GitHub Copilot. If you’ve ever experienced it, it’s like autocomplete on steroids, right? Now lately there’s this whole new approach called “Vibe Coding”. It’s not about writing some code and then hit “tab”, it’s about expressing intent - or the “vibe” - of what your software should do, and then the AI handles all the technical implementation details for you.
But where’s the fun in that, you may ask. Does this end the joy of coding? Good question! The answer is: it depends on the tool. Because what you actually need is a tool that does all of the tedious coding tasks, while you can concentrate on the interesting bits. Bottomline: the tool should keep you in control to assure high quality and secure software.
Now there’s a plethora of vibe coding tools on the market already. You’ve Cursor, Windsurf, Devin, Replit, Spark, Bolt, v0, Lovable - and then some. But not to worry, this talk is meant to make sense of it all. So if you would like to know more about vibe coding, explore the landscape of tooling, see how they work and get to know how they compare, then this talk is for you.
