Wat we doen
Come practise your foreign language skills (Dutch, English, Spanish, French, and more!) with other internationally minded people at our Amsterdam Language Cafe! This event is powered by many volunteers and Koentact Dutch Language School.
We organise single language nights (English, Dutch, Spanish, French, etc.) that take place on Wednesdays at Koentact Dutch Language School, Elandsgracht 70. We also organise All Languages Parties that take place on Fridays in De Hallen where you can practise all languages! Check out our upcoming events. Hope to meet you soon!

Do you feel like meeting new people, having fun while practicing your Spanish or helping others to practice Spanish in a relaxed and cosy environment?
If so, we’d love to have you join our next free Spanish workshop and language café! 😀
Level:
From A1+ (including natives)
This event is not for complete beginners but for beginners+, intermediate, and advanced speakers since we’ll be focusing on having conversations in Spanish. Spanish natives are also more than welcome to help practice Spanish with non natives (and will even get a free drink for their help)!Programme:
Please start arriving from 19:00 onwards at Koentact Dutch Language School. We'll run the first workshop de español between 19:30 to 20:30. Then we'll have a 15 minute break to chat and have a drink with your new spanish speaking friends. At 20:45, we’ll continue on with the second workshop until 21:30.Photography:
Please note that we will be taking photos at the event which may be used on our social media. If you don’t want to have your photo taken, please let us know at the event.Donations welcome:
Our event is completely free, however, we really like to support disadvantaged children with their studies at school. El programa:
Puedes llegar a partir de las 19:00 a Koentact Dutch Language School. Realizaremos el primer taller de español entre 19:30 - 20:30. Tomaremos un descanso de 15 minutos para tomar una copa de vino, una cerveza o lo que prefieras con tus nuevos compañeros de español. A las 20:45, continuaremos con el segundo taller hasta las 21:30.Nivel:
Desde A1+ (incluyendo nativos)Esta noche no es para principiantes completos de español, sino para aquellas personas que tienen un nivel principiante +, intermedio o avanzado ya que estaremos charlando toda la noche. Por cierto, los nativos también son más que bienvenidos para ayudar a practicar español con no nativos (e incluso recibirá una bebida gratis por su ayuda)!

'Kroeghoppen' with Lisa and Vanessa means: going on a pub crawl and explore the beautiful streets from Amsterdam as you go. Curious? Just subscribe and join us on Sunday!
Walking alongside the Amsterdam canals, we will visit some tradional cafés you have never seen before. Join us to meet new people, taste some typical Dutch drinks and snacks and explore Amsterdam’s hidden gems.

Dit evenement is niet geschikt voor complete beginners, maar voor beginners+, halfgevorderden en gevorderden, aangezien we ons zullen concentreren op het voeren van gesprekken in het Nederlands. Moedertaalsprekers zijn ook meer dan welkom om te helpen met het oefenen van het Nederlands met anderstaligen (en krijgen zelfs een gratis drankje voor hun hulp)!Fotografie:

Dear Language Lovers,
What could possibly be a better way to spend your Friday evening than by meeting nice people, practising your favourite languages, and sharing some tasty international food? That's right - it's time for our annual potluck party!
Amsterdam Language Cafe:
The concept of the Amsterdam Language Cafe is simple: all nationalities are welcome and you can practice any language you want to improve. You will get a sticker with your name, the languages you speak and the languages you want to practice. After that, your language exchange experience can begin!Potluck:
Potluck is a way for us to exchange cultures through food. To participate, please bring a dish from your home country that can easily be shared. We suggest bringing something that doesn't need to be reheated (we will not have access to an oven/microwave). Some hits from previous potlucks include: guacamole, poffertjes, dumplings, gozleme, baba ganoush, cheeseboard and caramel slice.Programme:
You are welcome to start arriving from 19.00 onwards. The potluck buffet will then open up from 19.30.Café Belcampo has drinks which can be paid for in cash or by card.
Koentact language course raffle:
