Wat we doen

For vegans, vegetarians, and V-curious foodies!

We're a welcoming mix of long-term vegans, new vegans, veggies, and omnivores, and we're open to anyone who wants to try vegan food and learn more about the lifestyle with a varied group of friends. Come and enjoy the company of like-minded folk as we try out the many vegan and vegan-friendly restaurants and menus in and around Belfast. We also arrange other sociable activities, like brunch, games nights, day trips to other locations, cinema evenings and nights out. Organisers Jade and Emily aim to get something on the calendar every week, more often than not involving a plate of good grub!

This is an inclusive and non-judgemental group, open to anybody trying to improve their diet and lifestyle by cutting out animal products, so no negativity please. Non-vegans looking to try out some animal-free meals and find out more about veganism are very welcome.

New members are asked for a one-off payment of a fiver to join, which goes towards our biannual Meetup subscription costs. As soon as Jade has received your request to join she'll message you her PayPal details, so keep an eye on your inbox!

Stuff yourself Sunday lunch at Neil’s Hill

Neill's Hill Brasserie

Nom. Sunday lunch is what Sunday’s are made for. And it’s a good ‘in at Neil’s Hill, they do a nut roast as well as their normal menu.

Mid week at Zizzi’s.

We were here a while back and the menu was amazing. Let’s have a nice relaxing night while all the Christmas shopping panics starts outside.

Vegan super club Christmas party!

Darcy's Restaurant

Let's celebrate Christmas vegan-style. We have a table provisionally booked in Darcy's. But people will need to pay deposits. I have put this up so we can get an idea of how many people wish to go. But we will need final numbers in the next few weeks. Then we will be heading over to the Empire for 8.30 for the Pleasuredome Christmas Cracker event. I am sure a few of you will remember the great night we had last year. If you haven't bought tickets, you need to get them soon as they sell out: http://www.thebelfastempire.com/music-hall/pleasuredome-christmas-cracker/ Anyone who hasn't got a place at the meal is very welcome to join us for drinks and dancing afterwards :-)
