We are looking at a technology that is poised to change how we experience our life; from entertainment to social engagement; Education to creation. Yes, virtual reality was talked about in the 90s as a game changer and due to technological limitations, it was all hype and not much reality. Today we have a growing list of VR, MR, XR, and AR products and accessories. Oculus Rift, Hololens, MetaGlasses, MagicLeap, HTC Vive/Vive Pro, Playstation VR, PiMax, Acer/HP/Lenovo HMD's, Samsung GearVR, Samsung Odyssey, Oculus Go, Oculus Quest, and Google Daydream.  Development platforms such as Unity and the Unreal game engines and other emerging frameworks make it is possible to not only experience virtual or augmented reality at an affordable price but also create it.

This group is about the exploration, the study and yes even the development of virtual and augmented reality experiences.
