This group is brought to you by SportUp (https://www.sportup.be/), the first and only sports-specific (pre-)acceleration program for sports tech startups in Flanders (Belgium), an initiative by Ghent University-Victoris (http://www.victoris.be/), imec.istart (https://www.imec-int.com/en/istart) and Sport Vlaanderen (https://www.sport.vlaanderen/sport-en-innovatie/).

The SportUp Meet events are there to inspire, educate and connect anyone interested in the latest technological innovations, ideas and products in the sports industry. It will have special attention for topics such as startups & scale-ups, entrepreneurship & innovation, and business & marketing.

Via our meetup events, we hope to build an increasing community of people with shared interests who interact regularly to augment the conversation surrounding the growing synergy between sports and technology and its impact on the world. Don´t hesitate to shoot us an e-mail to introduce yourself!

Connect & collaborate at SportUp Café ! 🙌

🥂 SportUp Meet turns into SportUp Café: the focus of this event is on making valuable connections between entrepreneurs and people in adjacent sport (tech) fields. Because in the end, it's all about connecting with the right people, isn't it?!

🎙️ This time, we'll limit the presentation style content to zero. We will have a couple of interesting guests who will come on stage and present very shortly who they are, what they do and what they need. The stage is also open FOR YOU! You will get the opportunity to do the same and with that, open up to others in an informal way.

Send Kristof a short message if you like beforehand (here), he might be able to invite some specific people, based on your interests in needs!

🤝 We meet at the perfect spot, the new ‘Startups Café’ in the heart of Ghent, a community hub dedicated to fostering (young) entrepreneurship. Come and join us for a drink and a bite on June 1 starting from 7.30 PM.
