Hello fellow meetup members!

We are happy to announce meetup #2 and to bring the community back together again once more! The folks over at Liberty Global are kindly offering their location and to be of host to our group.

We have worked on an interesting agenda that incorporates a number of suggestions from our previous meetup. We have a set limit for participants this time for 50 participants. So my friendly request to all is to have no more than 5 participants for each organization. Open to all with expertise and experience on AEM, we hope to welcome as many organizations as possible. There’s room in the agenda to bring in your thoughts and ideas as well. Just shout out on any ideas that you may have for the open space discussion. Please be invited to contribute and make this as interesting as possible for yourself and the community.

Detailed description presentations & speakers:

Provisioning AEM using Puppet

Is having manually to maintain your 100+ servers giving you a headache? Then Automated Configuration Management might just be solution you need. We'll discuss how to implement this for Adobe Experience Manager using Puppet and introduce you into the modules and manifests that are involved in installing and configuring both AEM and Apache Dispatcher automatically.

This presentation will be given by Ronald van Eede (DevOps enthousiast) and Niels Hardeman (Executive AEM Consultant) who both work at Tricode.

MongoDB integration with AEM

The recently available option to use MongoDB as backend storage for AEM opens new up possibilities. However there are several choices that need to be taken into consideration before implementing such a solution. During this presentation I will share my experiences with implementing MongoDB with AEM and discuss possible do's and don'ts.

Speaker Bio: Bjorn Katuin; Developer, Hacker, Gamer and IT enthusiast. Lead Java Developer at Vixion. Several years of experience with both Java and MongoDB. Lately focusing more on building software for the finance market.
