During the Dutch "golden age" (17th century) Amsterdam became the centre of the world and a rich and developed city because of the international trade of the VOC and WIC.
This is a walkingtour through Amsterdam citycentre with a local Amsterdammer. Highlights; Royal palace(1665), Dam square, New church (1409), Magna plaza (1899), Westerchurch (1631), Anne Frank house, canal belt, the
smallest house (2.05 meter), VOC headquarters, the oldest wooden house (1528) in Begijnhof.
Meetingpoint is in front of the royal palace on dam square. The guide has a black umbrella.
