Amsterdam Creative Nights Meetup group
EVERYONE IS A CREATIVE. The goal of this group is to create a welcoming community where everyone is encouraged to think, discuss, draw, play arund a topic, thus creating new connections with the topic and the rest of the group in an environment free of prejudice.

The event
The event of the night is about carachters. Great stories are based on great caracthers and our lives are full of these. Maybe someone you met in the street the other day? Or a colleague?

Why not to use them to create some beautiful stories toeghether? I will use some games and discussions to steer the conversation (see details below)

Details about the game
- To prepare before the evening - Find a carachter from your life. Maybe someone you met in the street the other day? Or a colleague?
- Ask yourself why did i choose him/her? What stands out? What do i know about him/her? What does he/she do?
- We will discuss the caracthers with the rest of the group
- Based on vote or feeling, we will choose a couple to create a story together
- To create a story we will use the classic structure - "Every day - one day - resolution"
- Other exercises depending on time available

We are usually around 8 ppl. Reserved spots might change as i also have a wa group where i receive bookings

Program summary
18:30 - 19:00 Reception, food and warm-up
19:00 - 21:00 Creative game
21:00 - 21:30 Final reflections

PLEASE NOTE THESE GROUP RULES:
No-shows who do not reach out to us will be removed from the group (one strike you're out). We get that things come up, so if you have a slot and you can't make it last minute, please REACH OUT TO US via message instead of just not showing up with no communication.
If you have a slot and can't come, please CANCEL THE DAY BEFORE so that people from the wait list have time to plan to come. We understand that sometimes things happen last minute and you can't attend, but please try to cancel early, and reach out to us via message if you can't come last minute.
If you're on the waitlist, please don't show up anyway. It's often hard on the restaurant to have extra people, hard on us as organizers to make it welcoming to everyone with the space available, and it means the restaurant might not let us come back next time. If you'd like to try your luck that there's a late cancellation, reach out to us first via message and we can let you know if you can come!
