17:30 β πππ₯ Welcome & Light Dinner
18:00 - Talk 1: Jasper Stoop (Eraneos) - Closing the gap between business context and warehouse engineering with DIMO
Dimo is an agentic web application that helps transform business context, source data, and analytical requirements into a Kimball-style dimensional model. It starts from business processes, entities, and use cases, links those concepts to real warehouse tables, and incrementally shapes facts and dimensions into a validated star schema. The project is grounded in live warehouse metadata and testing, so the resulting model is not just conceptual but checked against actual source data and expected business outcomes. From that validated design, Dimo generates fully documented SQL or a native dbt project with table and column descriptions and core data tests. The result is a production-ready analytics engineering asset that connects business understanding directly to runnable dbt code.
18:30 - Talk 2: Sean McIntyre (dbtLabs + Fivetran) - Congratulations! You're a context engineer
Sean is a Solutions Architect based in Vienna. He helps the largest and best companies in Europe with their data, analytics, and AI. Heβs a dad to two awesome boys and enjoys riding bikes on the weekend. He'll discuss how data engineers and analytics engineers can think about the roles in their companies, and advocate to bring in more data sources into their existing workflows that AI models help process, and make well-governed data as context for AI agents.
19:00 - Talk 3: Eva van Kalmthout & Stan Verwer - How We Built Datavloot
