Hi outdoor lovers!

Get ready for an adventurous weekend! 🛶🛶 Two days of kayaking and camping in a natural beauty of the Netherlands. 🏕️🏕️ We are going to spend our weekend at the lake near Leiden (https://maps.app.goo.gl/7e2F5yrmxBC8Bm2DA)! We are going to be there from Friday evening to Sunday (with an option to join on Saturday morning). The campsite and renting the kayaks cost 45 euros in total. Make sure you bring your camping equipment with you! Have a look at the list below for inspiration. 😜 You can get the equipment for a good price in Decathlon. If you want to enjoy this great experience, send a private message to one of us (Nicolas, Selin) and we will send you a Tikkie, so your spot is reserved! Please do before 26th of August, so we can book your spot on time. 😊🏞️

⏱ When and where will we meet?
We will meet Friday at 19h at Lelylaan, after doing groceries for the weekend at a nearby supermarket, we will go to the campsite by public transport. The train leaves at 19h52 at platform 1 at train station Lelylaan. We arrive at the campsite around 21h.

🎒 What should I bring?
Clothing:

Toothbrush, towel, spare clothes (sweater, socks, underwear, etc.)
Slippers
(Rain)coat, just in case ;)
Head torch / camping light
Powerbank
...
Camping equipment:
Sleeping bag, airbed
Tent
(Picnic) blanket
Optional: pillow, sleeping pad

🍢 What will we eat?

We will go to the supermarket near Lelylaan before taking the train to the campsite, where everyone can buy their food (incl. plastic forks, plates,...) for the weekend
We can have a BBQ in the evenings and buy disposable BBQs for this in the supermarket, but feel free to prepare some food from home as wel
There are a few restaurants close to the campsite (Restaurant Tante Kee, Eetcafé Steffies, Brasserie Matt's, Bites&Boats, ...)
