Hey Scala people,

We two speakers lined up this April: Xavier will introduce us to Tensorflow in Scala and Yaroslav will show us event sourcing with Kafka-journal and NewMotion will be hosting us!

Tensorflow in Scala -- Xavier Tordoir
This introduces Tensorflow as a Machine Learning framework, using Scala notebooks. Then moving towards Data Science Engineering, we show how serving Tensorflow models can be done with simple and flexible akka-http services. We finish with some comments on how to manage Data Science artefacts, and unit and integration testing.

Kafka-Journal, Hybrid backend for Event Sourcing -- Yaroslav Klymko
This will cover basics of event sourcing and problems solved by Kafka-Journal, which we are using in production systems.
Kafka-Journal is a hybrid backend for Event Sourcing written in Scala, which joins Kafka streaming and Cassandra indexing capabilities.
