• Emma Rees - Executive Chair at Deployed - Emma began her career as a hairdresser and transitioned to become a serial entrepreneur and exited founder with expertise across B2C, B2B, and Enterprise SaaS. She has raised £5 million from investors, including Microsoft Ventures, and received the Melinda Gates Female Founder Award along with the Tech Nation Rising Star title. Now, In her spare time, she runs workshops on reversing bias in fundraising. Originally from Australia, Emma recently moved to Barcelona with her two children, ages 13 and 11, to enjoy a bit more sun. When she’s not working, you’ll find her in the gym lifting weights or rollerblading along the coast.
