For the 13th edition of Tell Me Wine, we head to one of the most fascinating islands in the Mediterranean: Santorini.

Known around the world for its stunning natural beauty, dramatic volcanic landscape and deep blue sea, Santorini is also one of the most extraordinary wine territories in Europe. This is a place where vines grow in extreme conditions, shaped by volcanic soils, fierce winds, blazing sun and centuries of adaptation. The result is one of the most distinctive wine identities you can find anywhere.

This tasting will focus entirely on the wines of Artemis Karamolegos, widely considered not only the benchmark producer of Santorini, but very likely one of the greatest producers in all of Greece. If Santorini’s Assyrtiko is one of the most talked-about white grapes in the wine world today, Karamolegos is one of the names that defines what this grape β€” and this island β€” can truly be.

Expect wines of salt, sun, citrus, sea breeze, volcanic tension and precision. Wines that are intense and vivid, but also incredibly refined. A tasting that will allow us to explore Santorini not as a postcard destination, but as a serious and singular wine region with a voice entirely its own.

We will taste at least 11 wines, all from Artemis Karamolegos, and as always the evening will be guided and thematic: not just tasting, but also discussing the island, its terroir, its grape varieties, and what makes Santorini such a unique place in the wine world.

And of course, as always, there will be paired snacks β€” this time coming directly from Santorini, to make the experience even more immersive.

A volcanic island, one of the world’s most exciting white grapes, and the benchmark producer to explore it properly β€” this should be a very special one.
