[1] Jasper Roes & Joost Farla – Kadaster (The Netherlands’ Cadastre, Land Registry and Mapping Agency)
Jasper and Joost share about their work for ‘Het Kadaster Data Platform’ (KDP), and how they use MarkLogic for KDP.
The Kadaster Data Platform is a generic information system where Kadaster publishes key base register data sets, among other things in the context of the 'Digitaal Stelsel Omgevingswet'. In order to unlock data sets in a coherent and semantically rich way, Kadaster intensively uses Linked Data under the hood. KDP developed an open-source framework to easily publish services (like RESTful APIs) through a configuration based 'zero-code' approach. This framework introduces an internal abstraction layer based on GraphQL, logically decoupling services from storage completely. This modular/pluggable architecture allows stakeholders to add domain-specific functionality. The framework is suitable to connect to multiple databases. At the moment MarkLogic is used to be able to meet the requirements imposed on Kadaster by the 'Digitaal Stelsel Omgevingswet' and other regulations.

[2] Erik Jan van Vuuren - Microsoft
As there is a growing need for agile database platforms in public cloud environments, MarkLogic’s NoSQL database platform is available in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace. MarkLogic chose Microsoft Azure as it is one of the most trusted, compliant cloud services provider. Combined with MarkLogic’s platform customers can take advantage to help them accelerate their digital transformation strategies by bringing their data to the cloud. During this presentation Erik Jan shares the current state of where Microsoft is at with Azure, how Microsoft works intensively together with customers and partners bringing the best of Cloud technology The Netherlands.

Please stay tuned for a final agenda. Hope to see you there!
