## About This Event
Bier en Blowen is a free, community-run pub crawl sponsored by Backpacker Reviews. There's no ticket, no wristband, no upsell — just twelve friendly stops mapped to the Nederlandse Spoorwegen timetable so you can ride the whole country in under 24 hours.
We are celebrating one thing: the Dutch train network. NS makes it genuinely possible to start your night under the Martinitoren in Groningen and finish it on the Vrijthof in Maastricht the next evening. That's the magic. The beer and flowers are just an excuse.
## Safety First
- · Pace yourself — one drink per stop is the whole point. 12 stops in 24 hours is plenty.
- · Drink water between trains. Eat at every other stop. Bitterballen count.
- · Buddy up. No one walks back to the hostel alone after stop 09.
- · Keep your OV-chipkaart, ID, and phone in a zipped pocket. Trains don't wait.
- · Mind the gap. Mind the canals. Mind the cyclists — they will not mind you.
- · If you're done, you're done. Skip a stop, sleep on the train, rejoin in the morning.
