The 2016 New Year's Reception is on Wednesday, 6 January.

Festivities begin at 1800 with networking and drinks (cash bar where you can use Bitcoin and old fashioned paper money).

The conference program kicks off at 1900 with presentations, workshops and talks by, among others:

Simon Dixon (http://www.bitcoinwednesday.com/profile-simon-dixon-of-bnk-to-the-future/), CEO of the UK-based Bnk to the Future, an online investment platform which has been making waves recently. Simon has given presentations for the House of Lords, House of Commons, Bank of England, BNP Paribas, Bloomberg, Oxford, Cambridge and the London School of Economics.

Marcel Roelants (http://www.bitcoinwednesday.com/profile-marcel-roelants-of-bitpay/), general manager for BitPay, on how Bitcoin blockchain use cases are shaping the new digital world.

Ella van Kranenburg (http://www.bitcoinwednesday.com/profile-ella-van-kranenburg/), partner at the law firm Keijser Van der Velden, specialized in financial services regulations. Ella will give her outlook on digital currency regulations in The Netherlands in comparison to some other European countries.

Thomas Kemmere (http://www.bitcoinwednesday.com/profile-thomas-kemmere/) of Bitcoin Uitleg will give an introduction to Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies and the Blockchain.

And much more.

Check the full program for this event (http://www.bitcoinwednesday.com/event/bitcoin-wednesday-31/) as it becomes available.

UPDATE: Due to restrictions at the original venue, we're changing the location to A-Lab, with plenty of room.

This event will be eur 10 euro per person or 8 if you use Bitcoin.

Bitcoin will be accepted all night long at the bar as well!

Your RSVP here on Meetup.com is required.

Tickets will go on sale at the door starting at 18:00.

For those who could not afford to attend for whatever reason, drop us a line hello@BitcoinWednesday.com and we will make up for it next month!

Directions to A-Lab:

A-Lab is right next to the Eye Film Museum.

By public transportation take the 3-minute free ferry behind Centraal Station to Buiksloterweg. If you come by car, check the parking lot of the Eye Film right next door or the inexpensive parking under the public library.
