Creative Writing Budapest ONLINE

This is the online version of our normal event for those who can not attend in person for any reason.
We have so many members from around the world :)
This one will be held once a month. In any other way I endeavour to make it feel the same as our normal event.

The event:
We share pieces of creative writing and solicit feedback from the other attendees.

Some members also use the forum to find others with whom to collaborate, edit work, and/or brainstorm plot, themes, settings, and so forth.

There is no prompt, instead, writers are invited to submit something they have (or are working on) or to craft a short story specifically for the event.

Of course, there's no pressure to submit something. Many participants are interested in hearing ideas, questioning the authors, and examining style and technique.

The submission guidelines are as follows:

1. limit the piece to 1000 words (to give enough time for any other submissions being read at the event);
2. make the text available (though you can read it aloud) for the other attendees.
3. have a question in mind for the group about the submission; and,
4. If offering something from a longer work, be prepared to give a little bit of background first.
