Big data meets containers: Traditionally big data runs on special tuned hardware configurations. And 12-factor stateless services run on your orchestrator. Bart will take you on the journey of running Big data apps on DC/OS. What storage options does DC/OS offer natively? What benefits does Portworx have? We look at their internals and at preliminary experience with both. Lessons learned and future trends.

20:00 - 20:30 Use case by Lunatech: During this demo we will show a working IoT pipeline with real hardware. Multiple Raspberry Pi Zero's will be collecting sensor data around the office. These real-time measurements are processed with Akka, InfluxDB and Grafana running on a DC/OS cluster. Come and play with the sensors.
