Reflections on Self

We will start off getting to know each other a little bit, and then we will engage in some casual philosophy around identity and 'self', which seems quite fitting in meeting each other for the first time, as well as being a fascinating topic either way. Now that we have indeed introduced ourselves, who are we? What defines us? What does this I/me even refer to? Do you have your own perspectives on identity, selfhood, and how that relates to others and the world at large? Or do you perhaps have philosophical or spiritual perspectives, maybe even scientific ones (physics? biology?) to bring into this mix? How unitary is this self? Or how separate is it from others and the world? Much fruit for exploration!
