Evangelists Unite for the first #DevRelAms meetup!

Welcome to the very first meetup of DevRelAms.

DevRelAms is an opportunity for everyone working in developer relations — whether you call yourself developer advocate, technical evangelist, community manager, growth hacker or something entirely different — to meet, exchange ideas and start to form a community of our own in The Netherlands.

Why DevRelAms?

Thanks to the awesome DevRelCon (http://london-2015.devrel.net) for the above copy and the inspiration for Appcelerator (http://www.appcelerator.com) Developer Evangelist Fokke Zandbergen (https://www.meetup.com/DevRelAms/members/66439272) and MessageBird (https://www.messagebird.com/) Platform Evangelist Sam Wierema (https://www.meetup.com/DevRelAms/members/27926572) to start this meetup group.

Program

This first meetup we plan to talk a little about why we started the group and then spent some time to get to know each other and the roles and companies we're in.

Next, Sam and I will take turns in leading short discussions about the major topics at DevRelCon: Distributed Teams, Scalability, Positioning, Measuring and Self-Management.

We'll use this to get an idea of what could be good topics for following events in addition to some we already plan on like Events, Online Evangelism, Developer Education, Community Building etc.
