Details
Join us February 2nd for a meetup about programming language TouchDesigner. How do professionals use this language for their interactive artpieces or live performances? Get first-hand insights into the creative process of several artists using TouchDesigner in their work. The floor is open for questions and conversations regarding the software and its usage.
During the meetup, it will also possible to share about your own practice! If you wish to speak share your own projects incorporating TouchDesigner, you can e-mail us at [info@creativecodingutrecht.nl](mailto:info@creativecodingutrecht.nl) with a short description of your work. Please bring your laptop or other items that you require to present your work.

👉 What is TouchDesigner?
TouchDesigner is a software product and visual programming language that can be used to create interactive 2D and 3D applications in real-time during performances. You can read more about it here.

- Grigory Gromov
Grigory Gromov is an artist in the field of new media in the direction of audiovisual art. The purpose of his work is to study the human perception of audiovisual compositions and sound works. He uses different methods of extracting and creating sounds and noises for his sound compositions, from algorithmic computer systems to recording environmental sounds. Sound and visual medium are the environments in which Grigory works, so most of the time in his work is spent on sound experiments and studying the features of musical acoustics, creating a common context between visual and sound medium and creating audio-reactive generative graphics.
- Carolien Teunisse
Carolien Teunisse is an Utrecht based visual media artist and educator. She aims to discover interesting dialogues between merging realities, and between humans and technology by experimenting with projections, computer code and sensing devices to create installations and immersive experiences. She is interested in novel nature experiences by using technology. She is a member and co-founder of DEFRAME, a collective of visual artists whose focus lies on audiovisual installations and live visual performances.
- RGBdog
RGBdog is a community-driven studio working on cultural projects with creative technology, fluidly run by - but not limited to - two core members, Soyun Park and Leo Scarin. In collaboration with creatives, technologists and organisations, RGBdog introduces resourceful, open-source, approachable, and fun(!) technology with a strong mission to share. They aim to broaden and encourage the community by organising events and workshops, connecting people with different disciplines such as visual design, sound design, and creative coding.
