Start your project with user research

Hi there!

Did you know that design starts with immersing yourself in the world of the very people you design for?

During this second Spring of Design (http://www.springofdesign.nl) meetup you'll discover the skills needed to conduct thorough and effective user research. What does it mean to ask a really good question? How do you recognise a significant insight? And how can you synthesise your insights to take that next step?

How can you understand and recognise challenges? It doesn't matter how open-minded and empathetic you try to be, you always bring "you" during the interview. During this meetup you'll learn that this shouldn't be a problem at all...

Host

Maike Klip (https://www.linkedin.com/in/maikeveltman/) is the lead UX researcher at DUO. There she works on the challenging job of creating human centered digital services for a very large and diverse group of people.

Next Thursday she will guide you through the steps of user research, and help you avoid any pitfalls along the way.

Venue

The Big Building is situated right behind the central station. Just take the footbridge from the busstation or one of the train platforms to the south end. The address is Achterweg 1. There is paid parking until 21:00 on Thursday's.

The doors of the Big Building will be opening at 18:30 and we will start the event at 19:00 until 21:00. There will be drinks and some light snacks for you to enjoy.
