Location
NodeSchool Rotterdam is hosted at Hackerspace Pixelbar. Currently located at Keileweg 28.
Note: this is a new location. Pixelbar's previous location was located in the Keilewerf, that recently burned down!
There is (limited & free) parking space available. If you're coming with public transportation: you can take the stop at Marconiplein and walk your way south towards the Ferrodome (old blue gas silo).
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need to bring anything?
A: Well, a laptop is kind of handy to start doing some actual programming. But don't require anything else besides a good mood!
Q: Who will be there?
A: A few mentors will always be available to help you. Either to answer questions, to make some examples, to give you hints or whatever you think need to get a step closer towards your goal of being a badass programmer.
Q: How long does the workshop take?
A: It really depends on you. You're welcome to stay as long as you want or is required. But the mentors will give a hint when they think it's time to wrap up.
Q: Is any programming knowledge needed beforehand?
A: Not really. If you're completely new however, it would be helpful to check out some Youtube videos and get somewhat familiar, but it's not required. Experts are also very welcome (also to help as mentor!) - we try to make it as challenging as possible for everyone.
