Isaac Levin - Building and Running .NET Apps on the Cloud- Choose your own adventure

Who doesn't like options? When we build .NET applications, we have a ton of options to how we build, what dependencies we leverage, and finally where we put those applications. We need to think about what app component model we use, like MVC, Blazor or Web API, and depending on that choice, it may dictate what platform we look to host our apps on.

AWS is one of the leading cloud providers to host your applications and provide a slew of services to satisfy your use case and provide resiliency, scalability and flexibility to optimize value to your business. Whether you are building apps hosted on IIS or Kestrel (if you are fancy), leveraging containers, building serverless event-driven applications, or microservices, there are just tons of options out there. AWS provides services that provide options for all these modalities. Whether you are or are not familiar with AWS, this session will provide insight into how AWS is a great option for hosting all types of .NET Apps.

Sander ten Brinke - Keep it secret, keep it safe with .NET!
App configuration. Settings. Secrets. We have all dealt with these things in our code without thinking much about it.

But how does this actually work in .NET and how do you make the most of it? And more importantly, how do you store them correctly and prevent leaking secrets?

This talk will teach you how configuration works in .NET, what you should and shouldn't do, and how you can use the power of the cloud to keep your secrets safe!
