Hands-on Azure Service Fabric

Attend the second Dutch Azure Meetup and learn all about Azure Service Fabric!

Service Fabric is a distributed systems platform used to build hyper-scalable, reliable and easily managed applications for the cloud.

It enables you to build applications composed of microservices running at very high density on a shared pool of machines, commonly referred to as a Service Fabric cluster.

During this meetup Sander Molenkamp will talk about a Fudura/Enexis project where Service Fabric is used in production. Enexis is a large Dutch regional network operator. They manage the energy network in the North, East and South of the Netherlands. Enexis ensures that energy finds its way safely from the energy suppliers to homes and businesses. They are responsible for the connections to approximately 2.6 million households, businesses and official agencies. Sander will give a brief introduction of Service Fabric and talk about design decisions and lessons learned.

For the hands-on part of the meetup, we will make sure to provide labs and guidance for both novice and advanced Service Fabric developers. So bring your laptop and join the fun :-)
