Over ons
The longest running and largest community for Cloud Native (inclusive of all CNCF projects, from sandbox to graduation) professionals and enthusiasts in The Netherlands. We now talk about AI too (of course:))! Kubernetes plays a pivotal role in training and inference, so obviously we are very interested in the intersection of Cloud Native&AI.
We organize monthly gatherings where folks from all backgrounds (developers, CxOs, sales, engineers, cooks and more :)) are welcome to share their stories and connect over food, drinks and technical talks; we run regular workshops to introduce anyone that wants to learn to cloud native technologies, including observability, security and AI.

AGNTCon PreDay: Agentic AI in the Wild
Adyen, Simon Carmiggeltstraat 6 - 50, 1011 DJ Amsterdam, Netherlands, Amsterdam, NH, NLThis meetup will be hosted by Adyen, in their office at Simon Carmiggeltstraat 6 - 50, 1011 DJ Amsterdam.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Please bring a valid ID document with you. You’ll need it to enter the building ⚠️
AI agents are moving into production. The question is no longer whether to use them, but whether you can trust what they ship.
This AGNTCon PreDay meetup brings together security researchers, developer advocates, and platform engineers integrating AI agents into real codebases, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native systems.
Hosted by:- Amsterdam Java User Group
- Dutch Cloud Native & AI Community Group
- Codex Community
- Qodo Dev Community
- AI Security Engineers Community
The evening focuses on conversations that rarely fit into conference talks:
- what breaks when an agent has write access to your dependencies,
- how to encode your team's standards into machine-readable guardrails
- what changes when agentic systems run at cloud-native scale
Under the theme Security, Quality, and Scale, we'll explore agentic supply-chain risk, AI-powered code review, and Java and cloud-native's evolving role in agentic systems.
No vendor pitches. Just practical lessons from systems running in production.

PANEL
AGENTIC AI IN THE WILD What does it take to move AI agents from proof of concept into systems that operate reliably? Practitioners from across the technology stack will discuss context management, governance, production workflows, failure modes, and what changes when agentic systems scale. Expect concrete lessons, not talking points.- Moderator: Dana Fine

Cloud Native @Kabisa: Running k8s on a container ship
Kabisa, Marconilaan 8 6003 DD, Weert, NLA new meetup in the South!
Have you ever wondered about all the places Kubernetes is running nowadays—and under what circumstances?
Join us for a talk about running Kubernetes on a container ship, followed by a deep dive into finding an upstream kernel bug through debugging K8s networking !The program will go as this:
- 17:00-18:00 Walk-in
- 18:00-18:05 Welcome
- 18:05-18:50 1st Talk: Pascal Widdershoven (Kabisa) Running k8s at sea
- 18:50-19:30 Pizzas
- 19:30-20:15 2nd Talk: Manuel Mascarenhas & Ronald van Zandvoort (ASML): Taking flight with Cilium eBPF – Is that you Icarus?
- 20:15 - 21:30 Networking & drinks
- 21:30 End
1st Talk:
Title: Running k8s at seaDescription:
While keeping your K8s infrastructure running smoothly on land is one thing, taking it out to open waters requires a complete sea-change in engineering. High latency, intermittent connectivity, limited edge power, and harsh physical environments mean you can’t just rely on your standard cloud blueprints when you’re literally floating on the ocean.Speaker: Pascal Widdershoven
2nd Talk:
Title: How to find a kernel network bugDescription:
The power of the kernel in the palm of your
hands comes with great responsibility.
Ever dove so deep into networking for months on end to find a obscure bug that is happening to your systems with no end in sight on what the problem is ?
Our second speakers will give you there horror story about finding and dealing with strange and obscure network bugs that eventually where tracked down to a Linux kernel bug.Speaker: Manuel Mascarenhas & Ronald van Zandvoort
Photography/Video consent:
We will be taking photos and videos during the event and will use these photos and videos for social media and promotional materials. By coming to the meet-up, you give us your consent to take photos and videos of you.Code of Conduct:
