The Dutch Language Café is the place in The Hague where people of many different nationalities can come together, feel at home, have fun, get to know each other and learn Dutch. All information can be found at: www.dutchlanguagecafe.com
Since July 2024, and thanks to a successful crowdfunding campaign, we have our own café in the centre of The Hague! Come by, drink coffee, play games, and have a chat, even outside of the usual events! We are open Wednesday to Saturday 11:00-23:00 and Sunday 12:00-17:00, and we're located at Herengracht 13A.

Everyone is welcome at DLC, regardless of age, background, Dutch level, etc, as long as you follow our house rules 🧡 We are family friendly, and have lots to keep your little one happy while you chat.

This Sunday afternoon event is a perfect opportunity to dive into longer or more complex games with a cosy group. ☕🎲🇳🇱🃏 Fun strategic games for Dutch levels from intermediate to native speakers
🎲 Meet people, play competitive strategic games like Catan, Clank and more
👀 Have a cool board game to share? Bring it along!
🗨️ Practise Dutch in a relaxed, friendly setting
👥 We aim for a native speaker in each group!🕐 13:00 – 16:00 | You're welcome to stay longer, we close at 17:00!
💸 €9 (€6 for native speakers) or free for members

🎲 PLEASE CHECK ON OUR WEBSITE which game we have chosen and watch the instruction video so that when we arrive we can jump right in! Don't fancy that game? This event is 100% in Dutch – but slow Dutch with mistakes is absolutely fine. No judgement here! 😉
