Chess club | Play chess at Dutch Language Café ♟️

The DLC chess club has moved to Saturday afternoons! No matter how much experience you have, come and enjoy some mind puzzles, speak Dutch (all levels welcome) and meet nice people :)

### What will we do?

At the chess club, I will give tips to improve your personal chess skills, we will solve (sometimes) tricky chess puzzles and we will play informal chess games. Is chess completely new to you or are you just starting out? You are more than welcome to join us! We will be happy to teach you. 😊

### Planning

The chess club will last from 13:00 to 15:00 but you are welcome to play for longer!

### Dutch Level

Chess is, of course, a mind sport. But outside the games we can talk Dutch! After each chess game, you have the chance to discuss the game in Dutch with your opponent. And of course you can also talk about other things than chess when you are not playing :). When speaking we try to speak mostly Dutch, but we speak slowly and help you along the way. If you are comfortable with a basic level of Dutch, this event is good for you! It certainly doesn’t have to be perfect. We are all there to learn :).
