Personal Updates

We start each meeting by going around the table and giving updates about EA-related events in our personal lives, followed by plans until the next meetup. The idea is to share activities the group might be interested in and encourage each other in pursuits which may not be as widely appreciated, like a Giving What We Can donation scheme.

There are many ways in which humans make predictably irrational decisions (or are biased in other ways) and we are no exception. Which of these biases can we correct? Which techniques work? These kinds of questions will be discussed at the meetup. We are also going to do a little rationality experiment.

Practical

We'll continue to meet in the afternoon at Film Café Oscar since it seems to be quiet and convenient for most people, at least those who showed up. Someone will be holding a sign that says 'LW' on it. If you have trouble finding us you can reach Devin at 06-5025-4214.
