This talk will introduce the concepts of design thinking and show how these can be relevant for software developers to create business value and more meaningful interactions.

Creating the right product for your users can be difficult. We have experienced different projects with and without interacting with end users: being just the developer opposed to being involved in the entire process. I will discuss and provide several examples and experiences from projects we have worked on to illustrate the importance of design thinking and elaborate on why we believe companies need more hybrid developers.
