   Tim will give an introductory talk on permissioned versus public chains, their respective consensus mechanisms, and the question "when to use what?".

2. Jeroen van Megchelen, 216 (https://www.216.nl/) / Ledger Leopard (https://www.ledgerleopard.com/about-us/)
   Jeroen is the technical lead behind the platform (https://www.ledgerleopard.com/technology/) Ledger Leopard built with Ethereum in Proof of Authority setups. The platform abstracts away the intricacies of the underlying blockchain. "Mijn zorglog (https://www.istandaarden.nl/izo/innovaties/blockchain-mijn-zorg-log)" is a first application built on top of it.

3. Hidde Terpoorten (https://www.linkedin.com/in/hidde-terpoorten-7517369/) and Jeroen Merks (https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeroenmerks/), APG (https://www.apg.nl/nl)
   APG and PGGM built a prototype to manage a pension fund with 10 000 participants. Hidde and Jeroen will explain how they developed it, and how they overcame issues such as scaling and performance.

We welcome new people to the meetup, we do ask however that you do some effort beforehand to familiarise yourself with (development on) Ethereum.
