Wat we doen
Welcome to Expats Eindhoven, a vibrant community for English-speaking expats living in or around Eindhoven. Our goal is to help you feel at home, build lasting friendships, expand your social network, and enjoy fun activities together—whether in-person or virtually.
This group is affiliated with Dutch Academy Eindhoven, a local language school that offers Dutch courses. While we may occasionally share information about language learning resources, our primary focus is on fostering genuine connections among expats, not on promoting or selling services.
Membership is open to all English-speaking expats and internationals—everyone is welcome! We simply ask that members participate respectfully and contribute to a positive, inclusive environment. Meetup with other English-speaking expats living in the Eindhoven area. Come along, make new friends and enjoy a few laughs. There is a meet up nearly every night of the week, in Eindhoven, either for a drink, to play board games, to enjoy comedy night, to play some music with music with stranger and learn languages, but always for a laugh. Everyone is welcome. Come along and get involved!
We believe that anyone should be able to feel at home and build a (social) network in the city of Eindhoven. So that’s what we are here for: to make you feel at home, to have fun, to help out and to let you build your social network. In order to do this, we organize many events ranging from Dutch language classes to music- and game nights, to meet up mornings for spouses. Join us - you will be made to feel very welcome!
We're here to create opportunities for members to connect, share experiences, laugh, and support one another. Whether you're new to Eindhoven or a long-time resident, our events are designed to build a sense of community through interactive, group-focused activities. DUTCH ACADEMY EINDHOVEN, Catharinaplein 21, Eindhoven, NB, NLThe Dutch Course for beginners is a comprehensive program designed for individuals who are new to the Dutch language and want to develop a solid foundation in the basics of the language. This course is suitable for anyone who has little to no prior knowledge of Dutch.
The course covers essential language skills such as vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and sentence structure. In addition, students will be introduced to the cultural aspects of the Dutch-speaking regions, helping them to understand the context and nuances of the language.
Through a combination of interactive lessons, exercises, and practical activities, learners will engage in a variety of language learning experiences. These activities are designed to enhance listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, enabling students to communicate effectively in everyday situations.
The Dutch Course for beginners is taught by experienced instructors who are skilled in teaching the language to beginners. They will provide guidance, feedback, and support throughout the course, ensuring that students gain confidence in their language skills.
By completing the Dutch Course for beginners, students will have the language skills necessary to engage in basic conversations, understand simple written texts, and navigate common situations in a Dutch-speaking environment. This course is an excellent starting point for individuals who want to learn Dutch for personal, academic, or professional reasons, and it lays the groundwork for further advancement in Dutch language studies.
