Dear Health 2.0 Amsterdammers,

Our next gathering will take place at the beautiful Rockstart HQ in Amsterdam on March 9th, preceding Rockstart's Digital Health Demo Day (http://www.rockstart.com/accelerator/digitalhealth/)which will take place in NIjmegen on March 10th.

The theme of the meetup is "The role of artificial intelligence in healthcare: are we there yet?"

Given all the technology advancements as well as tremendous data growth in medical & personal data we, as human beings are generating, it is only appropriate to understand what is currently being done today and what could be possible. How will AI augment our experiences as healthcare consumers either directly or by assisting clinicians, nurses and overall care coordination teams.

I am happy to announce that, Shobhit Dhawan (https://nl.linkedin.com/in/amcventuresmanager)& Yulia Bodnar (https://nl.linkedin.com/in/yuliabodnar) from ACE Venture Lab have joined the co-organizer team of Health 2.0 Amsterdam. Together with them, Hans Dijkstra and myself, we are looking forward to re-igniting this great community. I also briefly wanted to send a big thank you to all of you who have responded in offering venues, ideas, topics and general help - it means a lot to all of us and great to know that this group is alive and well.

Our next gathering will take place at the beautiful Rockstart HQ in Amsterdam on March 9th, preceding Rockstart's Digital Health Demo Day (http://www.rockstart.com/accelerator/digitalhealth/)which will take place in NIjmegen on March 10th. We hope that the international audience coming to Nijmegen would venture out to Amsterdam the evening before to share ideas with our local community.

Quick note on the topic which I have been passionate about - The role of artificial intelligence in healthcare and are we there yet?

At a risk of self-promotion (not the intent :), I recently gave a talk on it at Health 2.0 Wintertech (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JMV62LwnVys) (~9min video) and enjoyed the feedback from the audience.

Please stay tuned for detailed agenda but we will follow our standard "networking, presentations, networking" format. While we already have a few lined up speakers, if you would like to share any additional ideas please reach out to our co-organizer team!

Looking forward to seeing everyone again!
