Flutter meetup and New Years drinks @ Bloom Technologies 🥂

After all the food and drinks you probably had with Christmas, New Years and all the new years drinks we want to invite you to join us on Thursday January 25th to ingest and share some Flutter knowledge 🎉

Bloom Technologies invites us for an evening in their new office building and show us what it means to be "the Flutter powerhouse" 💙. You can learn more about Bloom Technologies on their website.

Bloom will have a business event the same afternoon and has invited companies throughout the Netherlands to come and learn about Flutter and some business use cases. That's in the afternoon, but will have some overlap with the beginning of this meetup, namely the Food, drinks & connecting at the beginning. So if you're interested in which companies in the Netherlands have an interest in Flutter and/or might want to expand your network, feel free to be on time for this meetup!

In software development, small projects are quite different from large apps. As the scope gets bigger and functionality is added, quick solutions that worked before might create bugs later, state management can become complex and logic and UI changes are difficult to implement as requirements change. Flutter knows many state management patterns, several of which use a concept known as unidirectional data flow. This technique helps make the flow of data throughout your application structured, predictable and reproducible. In this talk, we'll discuss the advantages of state management patterns that use unidirectional data flow and how Redux and Bloc use this to their advantage.

  The address is: Gustav Mahlerplein 29-35, Symphonytoren, 7th floor in Amsterdam. It's definitely easiest to come by train to station Amsterdam Zuid as it's a small walk from there. Parking could be done in Q-Park Symphony, but it's quite expensive!
