Details

It's the yellow building. The front door is at the side of the water. Enter and go to the 4th floor with the elevator!

EPAM is helping organizations reimagining their business through a digital lens. Their software engineering heritage combined with their strategic business and innovation consulting, design thinking, and physical-digital capabilities provide real business value to their customers through human-centric innovation.

In this capacity they have helped many worldwide and Dutch Flutter projects get off the ground. Not only the work at Albert Heijn, but also at Liberty Global and several others. This evening we're visiting their office in Amsterdam, with a nice view over the IJ river, and learn about their perspective on using Flutter in helping their partners succeed in creating beautiful customer experiences.

Speaker Information

Jim Hildensperger - Staff Engineer @ Albert Heijn
I’ve spent almost 15 years working on mobile apps in all kinds of companies from small startups to multinational corporations. Some of my work has been seen receiving investment from Mark Cuban on an episode of Shark Tank and flashed on the big screen during a WWDC keynote. In the Netherlands, it is likely you’ve used something I worked on during my time innovating with ING, or now building the future of Albert Heijn.

Rick van Dijk - Senior Flutter Developer & Consultant @ Baseflow
I have been a software engineer at Baseflow since 2019. I started as a trainee and am currently working as a full time consultant. I have a strong love for Flutter and am very enthusiastic about spreading the word and making others enthusiastic as well. In my spare time I do CrossFit and I am a DJ every now and then at parties around the country.

Notes:

  • We do not record, livestream or broadcast this meetup. We’re fully focussing on a nice in-person meetup experience.
  • Please keep your RSVP status up to date! Doing so helps organize the meetup tremendously (with waiting list, capacity planning, food & drinks). Thank you!
