About the talks:

Flutter and clean architecture - reporting from the trenches

After experiencing some unsolvable performance issues with one of our core applications written in Ionic/Cordova/Electron we decided to rebuild the application from scratch with Flutter as the language of choice. Now we’ve successfully completed this daunting task it’s time to look back. For the rebuild, we decided to go with clean architecture. In this session we’ll talk about the need for software architecture in general, and the principles of clean architecture and we’ll talk you through the lessons we’ve learned along the way.

From legacy to innovation: Rebuilding our app with Flutter

In this talk, we'll explore the journey of replacing our outdated Ionic application. We will discuss the challenges faced with the old framework, the reasons why updating the framework was not feasible without a significant rebuild and discover the process and benefits of transitioning from an outdated Ionic app to a modern, robust Flutter application. Learn about the challenges faced, solutions implemented and the overall improvement in performance and user experience.
