What's new in Elasticsearch 2.0?

In this meetup you will be brought up to speed on the latest and greatest functionalities of Elasticsearch and we will show you how to start implementing them yourself by tomorrow!

• Elasticsearch 2.0 technical deep-dive by Christoph Wurm (Elastic.co)
As key technology behind platforms like Netflix, Uber, Facebook and eBay it is no surprise that Elasticsearch is seeing immense traction. In this session Christoph will bring you up to speed on the new and improved features in Elasticsearch 2.0. With hands-on demonstrations Christoph will show you how to easily adopt these new features in your own solutions.

• Data Insights with Kibana at ANWB by Patrick Kik (Trifork)
With over 3.000 car breakdowns a day ANWB needs to be highly efficient in handling their service calls. In this session Patrick will demonstrate how their Axon based event-driven architecture allows ANWB to gather valuable data insights with Elasticsearch and Kibana. These insights help ANWB to increase customer satisfaction by analyzing data for continuous process improvements.

Food and Company
Trifork (http://www.trifork.com/) wants to give you a really nice evening. As always, for us this starts with good food while sharing idea's with other technologists! This time we want you to indulge in some pretty exciting Mexican food. We will be serving both meat, chicken and vegetarian options.

If you have any specific dietary requests, please let us know in advance. We want to make sure that everybody has a great time!

Location and Parking
The event will be hosted at the Trifork Eindhoven office on the 4th floor in the Videolab building (https://goo.gl/maps/EI1iG). There is plenty of parking space in front of the building and in the garage across the street. Strijp-S is a paid parking zone only, don't risk getting a parking ticket!

When coming by train both Central Station (15 mins walk) and Beukenlaan (5 mins walk) are good options. You can also hop on the bus, it stops next to our building at busstop Glaslaan.
