We are finally getting out of our couches... no really - we are finally finding some time to get the graph community together again in Amsterdam. We already have 1 talk lined up, and are looking for more:

Agenda:
17:45 - 18:00: Walk in
18:00 18:30: Dinner
18:30 - 19:30: Talk 1 (Migration from MSSQL to Neo4j)
19:45 - 20:45 Talk 2 (Graph-powered Natural Language Processing: build your own knowledge)

Talk 1: Migration from MSSQL to Neo4j:
How We Did More With Less
In this technical talk, we present a real-world Neo4j use-case in Syndy product content exchange platform. The talk focuses on why Syndy decided to migrate from MSSQL to Neo4j and how this migration was executed. Furthermore, we present how this migration yielded multiple orders of magnitude performance benefit on a smaller machine. People involved in the talk are Hamid R. Bazoobandi, a consultant from DipperX who is specialized in graph technologies and was responsible for the design and execution of the migration, and Rogier Pennink, the CTO of Syndy.

Talk2: Graph-powered Natural Language Processing: build your own knowledge.
In recent years, knowledge graphs are getting traction across industries and in the machine learning community. They excel at providing in-depth contextual knowledge so needed by various parties, including machine learning algorithms and, ultimately, even AI. But what are they? How can they be useful? And most importantly - where to start? We will share GraphAware’s vision and experience of last two years: the power of combining Natural Language Processing (NLP) and ML techniques with graph DB to efficiently build a knowledge from any unstructured textual data as a foundation of intelligent systems. This talk will be presented by Vlastamil Kus of GraphAware.

Save the date, and prepare for a fun evening with graphs!
